Archeological museum

The Tidy Island museum was constructed in the mid-1980s to reflect the historical home of Cornelius Thigpen, the first homesteader. Randy Chastain, the developer, created a small replica of the pioneer homestead as a mini-museum (Stockbridge-Pratt, 2001). The museum is located in the Tidy Island Archeological Park.
